Audie McCarthy, founder and president
of Marrek Solutions Inc., has been involved in the human resource field,
specializing in recruitment,
management training & coaching, and positive employee relations for over
fifteen years. She has over ten years experience in operational management
in both call centre and retail environments, plus three years as an entrepreneur.
While with Bell Canada Phonecentres, she significantly increased sales performance
by designing and instituting the first sales coaching program within Bell Canada.
As Human Resource Business Partner, Audie was a key player in the strategic
transition project, which resulted in the amalgamation of Bell Canada Phonecentres,
and Bell Mobility stores (now Bell World). This included the creation of the
performance management systems and the transition of 1000 employees, both managers
and sales teams. Audie has successfully built trusting relationships while
working in both unionized and non-unionized settings.

Audie has extensive experience in managing and mentoring corporate coaches
and trainers responsible for design and delivery of sales, customer service
and management course curriculum. As a small business owner she continues to
coach individuals looking to improve their skill set, enabling them to grow
their business. She is a trained career transition consultant and works with
individuals looking to improve themselves within their current places of employment
or those that are seeking new employment opportunities elsewhere.
Audie operates “Beyond Networking”, a women’s
networking group, co founded with Karen Roy, Royalmount Consulting. Beyond
Networking
is aimed at taking networking to the next level through seminars and training.
Audie designs and delivers management courses for her
own company as well as for educational institutions such as The Centre – Skills Development & Training,
a not- for-profit corporation affiliated with the Halton District School Board,
Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario and Sheridan College, Oakville, Ontario.
She co authored the book, “Leadership – it is not Just For Leaders”,
with Karen Roy. Audie is also a regular contributor of articles to the HR Matters
newsletter, a monthly publication. She has also been published by BIZ magazine.
She has spoken at various conferences including Employment Expo, Opportunity
2003 and the Hamilton Manufacturing Conference.

believes that increasing profitability and the success of a business is dependent
on the ability to communicate and treat people well, both the people within
the organization and its customers
Audie believes in giving back to the community that
she lives in. She is on the Board of Directors for the Stoney Creek Chamber

and is a part of the Speaker’s Sub Committee. She chairs the Women in

She is the community advisor for the School Council at Memorial Public School,
Stoney Creek, and past chair of the same council. Audie holds two positions,
one as chair of the steering committee and another on the communications sub
committee of the Human Resource Matters Project of Hamilton which focuses on
attracting and retaining talent in all sectors of the Hamilton business community.

the Cancer Society and assisting with the Ontario Wheelchair Tennis Championship
Tournament held in Stoney Creek.
Audie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University, Hamilton,
