Catherine Brady has been a resident of Burlington for over
22 years and has always worked or been involved in the field of design and
colour She owned and operated a drapery design and manufacturing company in
Burlington for 10 years before concentrating on watercolor painting. Her first
exposure was to architectural drawing and painting while taking interior design
courses at Sheridan. She began honing her skills at The Burlington Art Centre
under Liz Pudsey and enjoys exploring other mediums such as pastel and charcoal.
Catherine’s palette of colors is seldom subtle and
she enjoys creating strong stories from her watercolors. Catherine’s
passion is flowers but will often venture into landscapes, which seldom reflect
the norm.
Catherine is married to Jim and has a 17 year old son, Ben.
