Today, Dale has a wonderful life. But
that wasn’t always
true. She use to dread Mondays and going into work.
After college, Dale worked as a secretary in the marketing
department of a large company. It didn’t take long for her to feel
less than thrilled about typing reports and collating papers.

Ambition and boredom drove her into Human Resources
(then called “Personnel”)
where she stayed for 10 years. Dale ended up as director of the department,
after having earned 5 promotions. Downsizing and a lucrative job offer set
up her next career move.
Dale ran a small, but growing beauty fashion Public Relations agency. After
5 years and lots of money and travel, Dale knew there had to be something more
fulfilling than hyping perfume.
The turning point came when Dale found and started working
with a career counselor. Propelled by that experience, she returned to school
for a Master’s in
Career Counseling and started a career coaching business five years ago. Dale
has successfully combined the various threads of her past work background into
a career that fully engages and motivates her.
Today, Dale Kurow, M.S., is an author and a career and executive coach practicing
in NYC. She works with clients across the US and internationally, helping them
to survive office politics, become better managers, and figure out their next
career moves.
Dale lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and is married to Stan, an
all-around great guy and her biggest fan. She has four wonderful step-grandchildren
and Central Park two blocks from her doorstep.
