Once your book has been accepted, use this guide to
prepare your final book before sending it to us. This guide
must be followed to ensure that our staff can format
your book properly.
Digital Format. Books
to be submitted must be saved in one of the following formats, NO EXCEPTIONS:

* Vidaville uses PCs only,
not Macs. If you use a Mac, make sure the file has the proper extension
typed in (ie. "filename.doc) and the file can be viewed on a PC before submitting.
Fonts. Only use Arial, Verdana, Helvetica,
or Times in your document. WE WILL NOT INSTALL SPECIAL FONTS. If you
submit a document that requires special fonts we will choose one
from our collection as a replacement.
Images. If
images are used, embed them into the book document. If you are using
QuarkXpress or PageMaker use the following formats:

Keep a high resolution version of
all images on hand even if they are embedded into the book
document you submit. We will need those files for publication if your
book
is accepted.
Zipped Files. When
zipping files, please use Winzip. We will not accept RAR or
Mac's Stuffit files.
Virus Protection. We
will scan every file that is sent to us for viruses. If any of your
files have a virus
we will notify
you immediately. If you send a second file with a virus you run the
risk of being banned from our site.
