Are you about to go on a first date? Are you unsure
as to where to take your potentially new girlfriend on the first date?
In this article I am going to giving my thoughts and opinions on the whole subject
of first dates, opinions which I hope will prove to be of benefit.
I have been on quite a few first dates but not as many as I would have perhaps liked! I am now very happy in a relationship which has borne two beautiful children. I have to admit that I used to hate going on the first ever date with a girl. Other people I have met, such as friends for example, have told me that they enjoy the whole experience, but I can not really see how they can.
What I was worried about was things such as what if we run out of things to say? What if I do not talk enough and she thinks I am too quiet or shy? Where should I take her? Should I make a move on her or not?
I eventually had what I believed to be the perfect
solution. I would take her to the cinema. In the cinema
I will not be expected to talk too much and therefore will be able to just sit
and relax for this period of the evening.
After the cinema I could take her to a public house
for a few drinks and a chat. If there is a period where it looks like
the conversation is starting to die I could then start to chat about the film
that we have both just watched. What did you think of the film etc?
