Karen Roy, founder and vice president of Royalmount Consulting Inc. is an entrepreneur that achieves, believes and lives her passion. She has been involved in the retail/telecommunications industry for over 19 years. Karen’s vast experience in sales, marketing and operations resulted in the creation of her company, Royalmount Consulting. Karen mentors and provides motivation and coaching to managers, corporate account executives and sales consultants. Her clients are retailers in the small to medium sector where she focuses on streamlining operations and improving company’s bottom line. Most recently Karen was a recipient of Business Link of Niagara’s Top 40 under 40.

Karen co-founded “Beyond Networking” in 2003 with Audie McCarthy, Marrek Solutions; a women’s networking group aimed at taking networking to the next level through customized seminars and training. She is a published co-author of “Leadership….it is not just for leaders”. As well she has been featured in the entrepreneur edition of Biz Magazine and has had an article published on corporate downsizing.

She has facilitated a leadership workshop at Opportunities 2003, a province wide three day seminar. Other clients Karen has worked with include, Johnson Diversey, Kraft Canada, Hair Extreme, In Touch Communications and Strategy9. Other companies Karen has worked with throughout her career at Bell Canada are, Future Shop, Consumers Distributing and Sears Canada. Projects included sales, operations, training and recruitment.

Karen represents Royalmount in the community, and through her participation in various professional venues, she is quick to discover where businesses need assistance. Royalmount Consulting also has a strategic alliance with Marrek Solutions Inc. a training, coaching and human resource company.
