Frequency Specific Microcurrent is a new treatment
modality which has been developed over the past ten years. Like a TENS machine,
which for many years
has been used for the treatment of chronic pain, this microcurrent delivers
a small amount of electric current which interacts with the body’s own
electric current. The difference in the current is that the microcurrent delivers
an impulse which is in millionths of an amp. The microcurrent can match the
electric current which is present across the cell wall.
Experiments have been done using this machine and it has been shown to increase
the ATP produced in the cell by 500%. ATP is produced in mitochondria, little
organelles within the cell, which are responsible for the functioning of every
living cell. By increasing the ATP within the cell, the microcurrent can increase
the ability of the cell to repair itself. This has tremendous implications in
the ability of the body to heal itself on a cellular level.
I have been using the microcurrent machine for the
treatment of chronic conditions with very positive results. I have treated
shingles with the microcurrent and
have shortened the expected 6 to 12 months of disability from this condition
to less than a week. I have treated Bell’s palsy, which is a condition
of facial paralysis, and normally takes a year to resolve and many cases leave
the person with permanent disfigurement, like Jean Cretien. Two cases of Bell’s
palsy were treated successfully within three weeks with no remaining disfigurement.
I have treated six cases of reflex sympathetic dystrophy, which is a condition
which results in a painful swelling of the arm or leg, and can result in paralysis.
All six cases resolved completely within six months with no paralysis.
These are a few examples of conditions for which normal medical treatment
has little to offer in the way of a treatment plan and all cases resulted
in complete
resolution of the condition without any form of disability. The possibility
that this machine can give people suffering from these chronic and debilitating
conditions
is very encouraging. It is easy to use and it is easy to learn. A basic understanding
of anatomy and physiology allows a practitioner to use it successfully.
I encourage all practitioners who are treating people with some of these
chronic conditions to consider training in the frequency specific microcurrent.
