"A friend worked as a designer for Web Personals
(now
Lavalife) and she convinced me that I would find
plenty of attention if I tried the service," Kate
remembers. Now married with one child to a man she met
on the Internet, Kate recounts her own often
hilarious, often frustrating romantic adventures and
balances them with the stories and advice of other
veteran Internet daters.
Kate's writing about personal, political and
technology issues has also appeared in Today's Parent,
the Vancouver Sun, the Christian Science Monitor and
Now Magazine among other publications. She earned her
BA at the University of Toronto and MFA in Creative
Writing at the University of British Columbia.
